Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end transportation and logistics operations for primary and secondary movements.
- Handle transportation volumes in the range of MT.
- Manage and negotiate transport contracts and freight rates with logistics service providers.
- Evaluate transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Coordinate with transporters vendors warehouses plants distributors and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and improve On-Time In-Full (OTIF) performance.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and products to respective destinations.
- Monitor MT supplies and General Trade (GT) supplies to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate vehicle planning deployment and transportation schedules.
- Ensure effective utilization of transportation resources.
- Track logistics performance and identify operational gaps.
- Support basic warehouse operations and ensure smooth coordination between warehousing and transportation activities.
- Develop strong relationships with transporters and logistics partners.
- Support contract renewals and ensure commercial terms are competitive.
- Analyze logistics data freight costs delivery performance and operational KPIs to support decision-making.
