Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Packages: Safely transport packages to various locations ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Load and Unload: Carefully load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to Routes and Schedules: Follow designated routes and delivery schedules provided by the company or supervisor.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries resolving complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Payment Collection: Collect payments for deliveries when required.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and regular maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Communication: Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any issues.
- Problem Solving: Address any problems or issues that may arise during deliveries such as lost packages or incorrect addresses.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid drivers license.
- Clean driving record.
- Proven delivery experience is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Working knowledge of local roads and routes.
