DB2 Database Monitoring & Administration IT Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated DB2 Database Monitoring & Administration IT Analyst to drive the reliability performance and operational excellence of our enterprise database environment. This role requires a proactive technical leader who can balance hands-on database administration with strategic monitoring incident management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Administer monitor and maintain DB2 database environments to ensure high availability performance and security.

Lead proactive database health checks performance tuning capacity planning and issue prevention activities.

Investigate troubleshoot and resolve database incidents minimizing business impact and ensuring service continuity.

Implement and enhance monitoring alerting automation backup recovery and disaster recovery processes.

Partner closely with application infrastructure and business teams to support project delivery and operational excellence.

Drive root cause analysis documentation and process improvements to strengthen platform stability and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with enterprise standards security policies and operational best practices.

Qualifications :

Strong experience in DB2 Database Administration Monitoring Performance Tuning Backup & Recovery.

Hands-on expertise with database monitoring tools automation and production support.

Solid understanding of database security high availability and disaster recovery concepts.

Experience supporting mission-critical environments with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication stakeholder management and collaboration capabilities.
