About the Role

We are looking for a Database Engineer with strong experience in PostgreSQL (Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL preferred) and DynamoDB to support a large-scale payroll and financial services platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database design performance optimization data modeling migration activities and ensuring high availability of critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable relational and NoSQL database solutions.
• Create logical and physical data models for enterprise applications.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning indexing and execution plan analysis.
• Design and manage DynamoDB tables partition keys sort keys and secondary indexes.
• Implement ETL processes and data migration strategies.
• Monitor database health troubleshoot performance issues and ensure system reliability.
• Develop backup recovery and disaster recovery processes.
• Collaborate with application and backend teams on database design and performance improvements.
• Ensure data integrity security and compliance standards.
