Database Administrator (DBA)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) with 3 years of experience managing SQL Server databases across on-premises Azure and AWS environments. The candidate will be responsible for database administration monitoring performance tuning backup and recovery and ensuring high availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install configure maintain and support SQL Server databases.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement backup recovery and disaster recovery strategies.
- Manage database security user access and permissions.
- Support database migrations between on-premises Azure and AWS.
- Monitor storage capacity planning and system health.
- Work with development teams on database deployments and releases.
- Maintain database documentation and operational procedures.
Qualifications :
Required Skills:
- SQL Server Administration (2016/2019/2022).
- Experience with Azure SQL Database Azure VM and Azure Backup.
- Experience with AWS RDS EC2 and AWS Backup services.
- Database backup restore and disaster recovery.
- Performance tuning indexing and query optimization.
- Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR).
- PowerShell or scripting knowledge.
- Understanding of database security and compliance.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Always On Availability Groups.
- Azure/AWS certifications.
- Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD processes.
