Your new role
As a Data Engineer you will design build and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that drive supply chain performance. Youll work at the intersection of complex systems and meaningful outcomes turning raw data into the intelligence that keeps life-saving medicines flowing to patients.
Day-to-day your tasks will include:
- Developing ingestion transformation and integration flows across diverse systems (ERP MES LIMS logistics systems planning tools) using AWS Azure Databricks and GitHub
- Optimising data flows for performance reliability and cost efficiency
- Implementing CI/CD version control and automated testing for data pipelines
- Collaborating with business stakeholders data scientists and analysts to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Ensuring data quality integrity and security across all systems adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards
- Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipeline issues proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks
- Documenting data solutions architecture and processes for knowledge sharing and audit purposes

Within this area you will join a data engineering team dedicated to strengthening our supply chain through modern data platforms and cloud-native solutions. The team works closely with colleagues across operations planning and analytics to ensure the right data reaches the right people at the right time enabling faster smarter decisions at scale.
Your skills & qualifications
Were looking for a Data Engineer with deep technical expertise and the ability to drive data engineering initiatives in a complex fast-moving environment. Youll bring with you:
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering or similar roles with proven expertise in large-scale data systems
- Strong proficiency in SQL Python and Spark-based development
- Hands-on experience with Databricks (notebooks workflows Delta Lake Unity Catalog)
- Experience with the Azure data stack (ADF Azure Databricks GitHub)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders

You will be part of the Gulf Cluster sales team based in Qatar. You will report to the Country Sales Manager. The local team consists of approx 10 employees, and has highly-engaged and experienced members that are looking for a new teammember.
