Datacentre Consultant / Engineers Requirement:

Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in information technology (IT) or computer science.
2. Experience working with IT systems. Shall have min 10years Experience in ICT and Data Centre design
DC implementation configuration and commissioning as a full integrated DC and its requirement.
3. Proven experience with Tier III / Tier IV data center design
4. Need to have leading industry standard networking certifications in routing and switching have CCNP or CCIE
(Routing and Switching - R&S Datacentre or Enterprise) Certification or approved equal.
5. BICSI RCDD Certifications preferred
6. Strong knowledge of international standards: TIA942 ISO/IEC 27001 ISO/IEC 24764 ANSI/BICSI 002 ASHRAE
NFPA IEEE
7. Ability to prepare BOQs technical specifications design drawings and shop drawing reviews.
8. Strong coordination skills with civil electrical mechanical and ELV teams
9. Ability to design and review data centre ICT infrastructure including:
o Core & distribution network
o Server & storage architecture
o Structured cabling (Cat6A SM/MM fiber MPO/MTP)
o Rack layouts hot/cold aisle containment
o Network security zones
o Redundancy and failover design
10. Strong understanding of:
o Virtualization platforms
o Cloud integration
o Network segmentation
o Cybersecurity principles
11. Shall have hands-on Experience on:
a. Enterprise IP Telephony System/Voice Collaboration Systems.
b. Dell servers.
c. Security appliances such as IPS Firewalls (Palo Alto Fortinetetc.).
d. AAA servers & DHCP servers.
e. Network Monitoring and controlling software such as Solarwind Airwave and DCIMetc.
f. Enterprise Wireless Network such as Aruba.
g. Linux and Windows OS system administration experience
h. Network capacity planning experience
i. A solid understanding of network and data center cabling
j. Analytical skills
k. Troubleshooting skills
l. Network stress test.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ability to design Data Center Networking / Backend and storage Systems including
a. ICT design drawings
b. Rack elevation layouts
c. Cable routing plans
d. Network architecture diagrams
e. Data centre topology diagrams
2. Provide and submit the T&C criteria for the Datacenter for consultant approval.
3. Fully aware about the Design and manage information/network systems.
4. Support the contractor for the configuration and quality control testing & commissioning procedures.
5. QA/QC the High Level Design (HLD) with contractor prior to submit for consultant approval.
6. QA/QC the operational procedures and Low Level Design (LLD).
7. Perform quality assurance testing for all DC components.
8. Identify and resolve recurring issues.
9. Identify reliability risks.
10. Provide technical support to contractor till finalize the T&C of the DC component and as a full integrated
Datacenter.
11. Full coordination with contractor for vendor availability during implementation configuration and T&C stage.
