Overview:The person in this role demonstrates a high level of professionalism prioritizing the development of innovative solutions and providing expert guidance within their technical domain. Responsibilities include leveraging in-depth knowledge of Bunges business structure and strategy to solve complex technical challenges leading significant projects and contributing to the strategic direction of technical architecture within the department. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving a commitment to high standards and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively to achieve critical outcomes.

Essential Functions:Main Accountabilities

• Lead and manage the technical delivery of large and moderately complex architectural projects from conception through implementation ensuring successful outcomes and alignment with departmental goals.
• Analyze complex technical problems often without clear precedent by applying deep architectural expertise and recommending innovative solutions that enhance system performance and reliability.
• Serve as a recognized expert in S4 transformation / Migration projects (brown and green field) and related technology (Joule BTP S4 capabilities ect.) with good overall functional knowledge of logistics and financial SAP modules.
• Lead development and implementation of organization-wide SAP AI and Automation strategy driving digital transformation and operational efficiency
• Architect and deploy AI-powered SAP solutions that have significantly reduced process cycle times and improved decision-making accuracy
• Provide significant input into resource planning and the development of architectural policies ensuring that technical strategies are robust scalable and support Bunges short to mid-term business objectives.
• Architect and design comprehensive technical solutions that address business requirements considering integration data flow security and performance across various systems and platforms.
• Act as a key technical resource guiding colleagues and project teams in the application of architectural principles and complex problem-solving.
• Ensure that technical solutions are documented adhere to architectural standards and can be efficiently maintained and scaled for future business needs.

• Accountable for the successful technical outcomes and results of large moderately complex architectural projects.
• Provides influential input on resource allocation and strategic policy development for technical architecture.
• Considered an internal expert in SAP architecture; a specific SAP functional area like Origination/Trading CRM Execution or Risk; cloud architecture significantly contributing to departmental planning and technical direction.
• Projects and initiatives directly impact operational efficiency data integrity and the strategic capabilities of critical business functions within Bunge.

• Actively participates in shaping short to mid-term (1-3 years) technical optimization plans within the job area translating strategy into actionable architectural roadmaps.
• Drives consensus among technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams ensuring architectural decisions are well-supported and effectively implemented.

Knowledge and Technical Competencies:(Identify knowledge and specific technical competencies to accomplish the desired end results. Some examples are licenses & certifications and knowledge and abilities):

• Deep expertise in S4 platform with experience with several cycles of S4 migration / transformation performed (brownfield green field) HANA DB upgrade and archiving)
• Deep expertise in SAP architectural components SAP ERP SAP S/4HANA SAP Cloud Platform SAP integration technologies (e.g. PI/PO CPI) specific SAP modules such as SD MM FI/CO PP PM QM EWM TM or advanced SAP solutions for Trading Origination CRM Execution Risk Management.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. Azure AWS GCP) microservices architecture API design data modeling cybersecurity principles enterprise integration patterns DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in architectural design tools (e.g. ArchiMate UML) programming languages relevant to SAP (e.g. ABAP Java Python) database technologies (e.g. HANA SQL NoSQL).
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into robust scalable and secure technical architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications in SAP technologies or cloud architecture are highly desirable.

Minimum Requirements:Education/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
• 11 - 14 years of progressively responsible position-related experience in SAP technical architecture preferably within a large global enterprise environment. A Masters degree may be preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
