Key Responsibilities:
1. Content Writing & Visual Communication
High-Quality Writing: Lead the writing and editing of top-tier communication materials across multiple formats including articles reports case studies newsletters blogs and impact stories.
Simplifying Field Realities: Translate complex programmatic work and field data into clear meaningful and accessible public messaging.
Institutional Collateral: Draft internal communication updates announcements and stakeholder presentations.
Partner Engagement: Support external communication and relationship-building with partners donors networks and key stakeholders.
Visual Design: Develop engaging posters social media assets and creative collateral using various online tools.
2. Digital Communications & Organizational Visibility:
Digital Strategy: Create engaging content to strengthen the organizations overarching digital presence and public visibility.
Campaign Advocacy: Execute targeted campaigns around crucial organizational milestones core themes and major events.
Consistent Quality: Build and maintain high standards across all ongoing communication materials.
3. Publishing & Knowledge Dissemination:
Platform Management: Oversee and support the publishing of research articles stories and knowledge products across multiple platforms.
Strategic Distribution: Ensure strong content dissemination through our website newsletters LinkedIn and active social media channels.
Thought Leadership: Position the organization as a leading thought leader in the space of labor livelihoods and migration.
4. HR & Recruitment Support:
Talent Outreach: Assist the HR team by supporting outreach and communication efforts for recruitment processes.
Employer Branding: Create compelling communication strategies related to hiring talent engagement and building an impactful employer brand.
Skills & Competencies:
Exceptional written and verbal editing skills in English.
Strong professional proficiency (both written and spoken) in Hindi.
Natural flair for editorial storytelling and a demonstrated ability to communicate complex social issues clearly.
Strong visual communication sensibilities and comfort using modern design tools such as Canva.
Ability to work independently with high ownership initiative and accountability.
Practical experience in multimedia storytelling including photography videography or producing podcasts and short-form reels.
Hands-on video editing and visual content creation skills.
Familiarity with social media strategy and digital audience engagement.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven Track Record: Prior demonstrated experience of 34 years in a dedicated communications role is required.
Sector Alignment: Experience in the development sector or with rights-based organizations is highly preferred.
Thematic Exposure: Prior exposure to labor rights migration womens work livelihoods or social justice issues.
Mobility: Comfortable traveling to both rural and urban field locations across our various work areas.
Location: Based in or fully willing to relocate to Udaipur
