Job Summary

Job Title: Communication Unified Events

Experience: 8 years

Budget: 12-14

Role Summary

The CUE Head owns communication governance for NIAT end to end — standardizing the templates tone and technique every official communication must follow and making sure that whenever there's a program or event it reaches every relevant stakeholder so awareness and participation aren't left to chance. The role also owns the underlying channel architecture — auditing and systemizing how email WhatsApp social media and every other channel is used for complete control over how communication actually flows. Execution isn't always centralised: some communication is executed directly by the respective team it concerns — for example the Parent Relationship or Student Relationship function sending their own updates — working in coordination with CUE rather than being routed entirely through it. CUE owns the overall communication that goes out and the information flow behind it even where another team executes. Alongside this the role owns the unified events calendar: one end-to-end view of everything happening across academics co-curricular and extracurricular across every campus — giving leadership a single place to see what's happening when and where instead of piecing it together from each function separately.

Key Responsibilities

• Communications governance — own the tone technique and messaging standards every communication must follow — whether it's executed centrally by CUE or directly by the team it concerns

• Template standardization — own and maintain a standard set of communication templates (email WhatsApp social on-campus signage etc.) that every team uses so output is consistent regardless of who sends it

• Full stakeholder reach — ensure every program or event reaches all relevant stakeholders — students parents faculty and other groups it concerns — so awareness and participation aren't left to chance

• Channel audit & systemization — audit every communication channel — email WhatsApp social media and others — and systemize how each is used so there's complete control and visibility over how communication actually flows

• Federated execution model — decide and run the operating model for which communications CUE executes centrally versus which are executed by the respective team (e.g. Parent Relationship Student Relationship) in coordination with CUE keeping the information flow and final oversight with CUE either way

• Unified events calendar ownership — build and maintain the end-to-end calendar of all academic curricular cocurricular and extracurricular events across every campus — the single source of visibility into what's happening across the university

• Channel expansion — proactively identify and activate new communication channels as they emerge (e.g. classroom screens standees kiosks) not only execute on existing ones

• People leadership — hire train and manage the 4 CUE Executives as a central interchangeable pool — loadbalancing a shared queue rather than splitting by zone

• Cross-functional coordination — work with functions like Parent Relationship Student Relationship PSM Program Ops and University Partnerships to establish the information flow into CUE — pulling in their events and updates and coordinating on communications those teams execute themselves

• Executive reporting — report on communication reach and effectiveness — across both centrally-executed and team-executed communication — and on calendar completeness and accuracy as a single view for leadership

Who We're Looking For

• Central communications leadership — experience owning a central company-wide communications function — not a single team's or campus's communications

• Comfortable running a hub-and-spoke model — can set standards and hold other teams to them without executing everything personally — influences and governs rather than only controls

• Ideally from branding or media — background in branding media or corporate communications gives better control over output quality and tone

• Comfortable as a single source of truth — can pull inputs from many independent functions into one coherent calendar and communication cadence without being an events organiser themselves

• Channel-agnostic thinker — not wedded to any one medium — thinks natively across digital print and physical/on-campus channels and is quick to adopt new ones

• People manager — has hired and managed a small central team operating off a shared queue rather than fixed individual territories
