Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of Civil and Structural Design in Coimbatore Tamil Nadu. The role requires skilled and motivated professionals capable of supporting civil and structural engineering design activities preparing engineering drawings performing structural analysis and ensuring designs comply with applicable engineering standards and project requirements. - Perform structural analysis and design of RCC and steel structures according to project requirements.
- Prepare civil and structural engineering calculations drawings layouts and design documentation.
- Develop structural models and analyze loads forces stresses and structural behavior.
- Prepare and review detailed drawings using relevant CAD and structural design software.
- Design structural components including foundations columns beams slabs and steel members.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable Indian Standards engineering codes and project specifications.
- Coordinate design information with architectural mechanical electrical and project teams.
- Review drawings and calculations for technical accuracy constructability and design consistency.
- Structural Analysis: Ability to analyze structural systems loads forces and structural behavior.
- RCC Design: Knowledge of reinforced concrete member and foundation design.
- Steel Structure Design: Understanding of structural steel members connections and design principles.
- AutoCAD: Ability to prepare and review detailed civil and structural engineering drawings.
- / Structural Design Software: Ability to model analyze and design structural systems using engineering software.
- Familiarity with BIM or Revit Structure workflows.
- Knowledge of relevant IS codes and engineering standards.
- Experience coordinating structural designs with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Typical requirement: 37 years of relevant civil/structural design experience. Candidates would typically have experience in structural analysis RCC/steel design engineering drawings and design coordination for construction or engineering projects.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction materials MEP systems and fit-out specifications. Understanding of project execution strategies and procurement planning. Proficiency in ERP software for procurement tracking and reporting. Hands-on experience in managing LPO cycles (Open & Closed LPOs). Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word Excel). Excellent vendor negotiation and relationship management skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines. Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.
