About the Role
Nashik is one of Indias most complex and high-value agri-labour markets. As City CEO Nashik you will own the full city P&L-style operating engine across labour supply farmer demand allocation execution and team leadership. This is not a desk role or coordination role you will be the final owner of whether Nashik runs smoothly on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
Labour Supply Ownership: Build and manage local and migrant labour sourcing pipelines; own onboarding verification rate negotiation and first-job activation; build supply depth for peak-season demand
Allocation & Marketplace Execution: Manage allocation teams matching labour to farms; design micro-clusters for efficient movement; ensure daily fulfilment and resolve issues quickly
Farmer Demand & Relationship Management: Own the farmer journey from booking to execution to feedback; ensure pricing discipline; personally handle key farmers and escalations
Team Leadership & District Operations: Hire train and mentor sourcing allocation and farmer-facing teams; set daily/weekly KPIs; act as final decision-maker for Nashik operations
What Success Looks Like
Predictable labour availability across peak seasons; high farmer fulfilment and repeat usage; reduced last-minute escalations and cancellations; strong worker retention; ground teams operating independently without constant HQ intervention.
Preferred Backgrounds
City or cluster operations roles in food delivery logistics commerce mobility or hyperlocal platforms; district or city manager roles in gig-work or marketplace businesses; agri-input agri-trading horticulture labour contractor or rural distribution businesses. Experience in horticulture value chains especially grapes onions or pomegranates is a strong plus.
