We are seeking an experienced Checker to join our dedicated team in the Steel Detailing department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret technical and project specifications to ensure accurate execution of structural detailing requirements
• Analyze connection design drawings and raise RFIs (Requests for Information) for any discrepancies missing information or design conflicts
• Identify and classify Fireproof Members Architectural Exposed Structural Steel (AESS) Galvanized Members and other special structural components
• Apply knowledge of paint finishes material grades bolt grades and weld specifications in accordance with project standards
• Verify that all received inputs and documents are current and aligned with the latest Transmittal Index
• Perform detailed checking of 3D Tekla models against contract design documents and client specifications
• Ensure all review and checking comments are accurately incorporated into the 3D model
• Validate material grades assembly prefixes part prefixes finishes levels thicknesses profiles and locking dimensions in compliance with IFC standards and project requirements
• Ensure erection feasibility and transportation considerations are resolved during the modeling stage
• Conduct clash checks prior to releasing models and drawings for production
• Ensure all required drawings are generated from the approved model before shipment
• Checking of single-part drawings shop drawings GA drawings related reports and NC files for accuracy and compliance
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 Years experience
• Should have sound knowledge in AISC specifications like ASD RCSC & NISD
• Should be proficient in Tekla Structures and capable of checking models and drawings
• Knowledge in concrete structures like slab level/depth expansion joint reinforcement composite steel etc
• Accurate Interpretation of contract design documents & connection design
• Clarify and answer modeler/detailer queries
• Perform model checks at each stage of the company workflow procedure
• Understand scope of work before project work begins
