Come build the future of entertainment with Prime Video India. Were looking for a Category Manager to drive the growth of our Prime Video Rentals business partnering with major Studios shaping marketing & pricing influencing product and delivering an exceptional video experience to our customers.


Key job responsibilities
The Prime Video team is looking for a talented smart experienced and entrepreneurial Category Manager to help us build an exceptional Video destination. Joining the Amazon Prime Video team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment. The Category Manager will be responsible for managing a category within Prime Video (including revenue growth driving sales executing promotions and reporting) negotiating direct relationships with key Studios driving incremental selection and working with stakeholder teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience to drive category growth. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for e-commerce a high level of flexibility and commitment.

The successful Category Manager must be able to:
-Manage relationships with a portfolio of international and local film and TV studios and distributors.
-Plan develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets
-Analyse vendor performance and customer behaviour to identify and understand risks and opportunities and their root-causes and propose solutions to address them.
-Research and monitor industry customer and competitor trends input to strategic plans to close competitive gaps and drive market segment growth.
-Seek out ways to automate & simplify manual processes in order to improve productivity.


- 5 years of retail operations product or program management or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
- 3 years of with Excel experience
- Experience in e-commerce
- Advanced degree or MBA

- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
- Experience in vendor negotiations pricing and promotion inventory management and product development
