Cash Collection Officer

Jumbotail is a technologydriven B2B marketplace that connects grocery retailers with manufacturers and distributors across India. Our platform streamlines procurement logistics and payments enabling partners to run their businesses more efficiently. As part of our continued expansion in the western region we are looking for a Cash Collection Officer to join our Ahmedabad team.

The Cash Collection Officer will be the frontline guardian of cash flow responsible for collecting payments from a portfolio of retail customers ensuring that every transaction is recorded accurately and that funds are safely transferred to the companys bank accounts. This role works under the supervision of the Finance Manager and collaborates closely with Sales Operations and Logistics teams to synchronize collection activities with delivery schedules.

To succeed in this role you must demonstrate a high level of numerical accuracy integrity and the ability to work independently in a fastmoving environment. Strong communication skills are essential for building trust with customers and for coordinating with internal stakeholders. You should be comfortable using standard office software particularly MS Excel and be able to navigate our ERP system for data entry and reporting.

We expect candidates to have at least one year of experience in cash collection banking or a related finance function. A graduate degree in commerce finance or a related field is preferred though candidates with a solid track record in cash handling and customer interaction will also be considered.

Performance in this role will be measured against key metrics such as collection timeliness accuracy of cash reconciliation reduction in outstanding receivables and adherence to security protocols. Regular feedback and coaching will be provided to help you meet and exceed these targets.

The position is based at our Ahmedabad office with a standard work schedule of Monday to Saturday 9am6pm. Travel within the assigned territory is required and a petrol allowance is provided to cover fuel expenses.

Compensation includes a takehome salary of INR17000 per month a monthly petrol allowance of INR5000 a mobile recharge allowance of INR500 and statutory benefits such as Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State Insurance (ESI). Additional performancebased incentives may be offered based on collection targets.
