Job Summary
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Team Leader to lead client engagements manage team performance ensure service quality and drive process efficiencies. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge leadership capabilities client management skills and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Management & Communication
Lead financial analysis reviews complex reconciliations financial dashboards and value-added client deliverables.
Conduct strategic review meetings and financial discussions with USA-based clients.
Support onboarding of new clients process setup and transition planning.
Build strong client relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Proactively identify risks resolve issues and escalate critical matters to management.
2. Process Improvement & Automation
Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend automation opportunities.
Develop and maintain SOPs checklists templates and dashboards.
Drive continuous process improvement to enhance productivity and accuracy.
3. Team Leadership & Coordination
Allocate work effectively across Senior Associates Senior Accountants and Junior Accountants.
Monitor progress mentor team members and ensure timely delivery of client work.
Conduct weekly team meetings focused on planning updates and performance.
Foster a professional accountable and high-performance work culture.
4. Quality Assurance & Process Control
Review critical client deliverables before submission.
Ensure proper documentation internal controls and adherence to SOPs.
Monitor compliance accuracy and quality standards across all assignments.
5. Productivity & Time Management
Monitor team productivity through Jibble time-tracking.
Ensure a minimum of 40 productive hours per week per team member.
Review billed vs. logged hours and submit monthly productivity reports to management.
6. Leadership & Team Development
Provide coaching feedback and performance guidance.
Create a culture of accountability ownership and continuous learning.
Maintain professionalism confidentiality and organizational discipline.
7. Training & Development
Conduct regular training on processes communication quality standards and tools.
Mentor Senior Associates and prepare them for leadership roles.
Share best practices and industry updates with the team.
8. Leave & Resource Management
Manage leave approvals and resource allocation.
Ensure adequate staffing and workload balancing across projects.
9. Reporting & Performance Management
Report client status team performance operational challenges and improvement initiatives to management.
Conduct quarterly performance reviews and maintain performance records.
Follow structured escalation processes for issue resolution.
10. Policy & Compliance Management
Communicate and implement organizational policies.
Ensure full compliance within the team.
Provide constructive feedback on process and policy enhancements.
11. Organizational Ownership
Demonstrate commitment to company goals and long-term vision.
Handle confidential information responsibly.
Represent the organization professionally and contribute to team stability and growth.
Preferred Qualifications:
CA Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting Finance Commerce or related field.
Strong experience in accounting bookkeeping financial reporting and client management.
Prior team leadership experience in a KPO CPA CA or accounting outsourcing environment preferred.
