The Buyer/ Planner is responsible for to plan material requirements procure materials and services and ensure timely availability of components to support manufacturing while achieving quality cost inventory and delivery objectives.

This position reports to the Procurement and Supply chain Manager and is part of the Custom Engineering department at Cytiva based in Pune and will be an on-site role. At Cytiva our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What will you do:

• Raise and manage purchase orders for production and indirect materials. Run MRP and convert material demand into purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier performance and expedite critical deliveries. Coordinate with manufacturing quality engineering logistics and sourcing teams.
• Maintain optimum inventory levels and safety material availability to meet production schedules and customer commitments.
• Resolve supplier quality delivery and invoice issues.
• Support new product introductions and engineering changes.

Who are you:

• Bachelors degree in engineering Supply Chain Operations Commerce or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in procurement planning or supply chain operations.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
