Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your procurement and supplier management expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.

Youll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of procurement projects by managing supplier relationships and driving project outcomes. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (Global Procurement Regional Procurement Platform & Project teams Supplier Quality Supply Chain Legal Finance Engineering and Services) lead supplier contract execution and monitor project milestones and much more.

Youll specifically take care of setting up the full supplier selection process and managing supplier contracts but also support commodity strategies and build strong supplier relationships.

Well look to you for:

• Preparing and launching requests for quotations with suppliers

• Leading project negotiations

• Monitoring procurement project QCDT (Quality Cost Delivery and Technical) and legal project evolution

• Ensuring work package sheet commitment respect

• Preparing business awards

• Promoting Alstoms Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

• Managing contracting activities and supplier contract execution

• Coordinating projects with all relevant stakeholders

• Ensuring on-time delivery and quality particularly during the ramp-up phase

• Supporting commodity strategy development and implementation

• Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships

• Monitoring supplier performance and implementing improvement plans

• Assessing and mitigating risks associated with suppliers

• Upholding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitments

• Masters degree in Engineering or Business

• Experience in sourcing and procurement (4-7 years)

• Strong understanding of contract management and legal frameworks

• Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment

• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

• Results-driven with a structured and rigorous approach

• International mindset

• Fluency in English

• Desirable: Masters in Purchasing or certifications like CPSM/CIPS
