Business Analyst II Insurance Operations

WHO YOU ARE:
Were looking for a Senior Business Analyst with 5 years of experience who thrives onsolving problemseliminating ineƯiciencies and improving processes through detail-oriented analyticaland equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves totroubleshoot issues or stepping back to guide and mentor this role youll partnerclosely with Product and Operations to automate transaction workflows uncover bugssupport root cause analysis and may also lead a small team of Business Analysts to drivecontinuous improvement.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Partner with Product & Operations to identify manual repetitive transaction processesthat can beautomated
Document business requirements and functional specifications for automation oftransaction flows
Analyze and investigate system/data issues supporting bug identification andresolution tracking
Collaborate with Engineering to ensure business needs are accurately translated intoautomatedsolutions
Support UAT and validate outcomes for automation fixes or improvements
Create documentation workflows and SOPs for automated processes
Use data to measure automation success identify gaps and recommendimprovements
Write and run basic SQL queries to support analysis validation and troubleshooting
Mentor and guide junior Business Analysts; may manage a small BA team
WHAT YOULL NEED:
Bachelors/Masters degree with 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst (Insurance BFSI or SaaS domain experience preferred)
Prior exposure to business process automation workflow tools or transactionautomation initiatives
Excellent analytical and investigative skills; ability to dig into issues and identifypatterns
Strong experience in bug tracking triaging and cross-functional collaboration withQA/Engineering teams
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA Confluence Excel/Sheets and process mappingplatforms
Clear communication skills for working across business and technical teams
Basic SQL skills for data extraction validation and analysis
Leadership skills with the ability to mentor coach and manage junior team members.
