Job Responsibility

• Solution Design & Advanced Configuration

Act as the technical design authority for Blue Yonder TMS solution design and configuration.

Configure and optimize foundation components and master data including locations networks lanes calendars carriers modes service levels and equipment profiles.

Configure transportation policies constraints optimization parameters rates contracts accessorials and fuel surcharge structures.

Translate business requirements into scalable governed system configurations and reusable configuration patterns.

• Transportation Smartbench (TSB)

Lead configuration and operational enablement of Transportation Smartbench.

Design role-based Smartbench workflows aligned to the shipment lifecycle (plan tender execute confirm).

Configure alerts exceptions and user views to improve planner productivity and decision-making.

Drive Smartbench adoption through best-practice design and training.

• Planning Optimization & Execution

Configure shipment planning and optimization considering service levels capacity constraints calendars and carrier rules.

Own carrier tendering execution workflows and event-based exception management.

Support multimodal transportation processes (road air ocean courier where applicable).

• Freight Costing Audit & Settlement

Configure freight rating costing and settlement processes.

Ensure accuracy of freight invoices and financial outcomes.

Support reconciliation processes with finance and accounting teams.

• Integrations & Interfaces

Act as technical point of contact for integrations with ERP WMS YMS and carrier systems.

Support and validate API and EDI interfaces for shipment creation tendering status updates and freight invoicing.

Troubleshoot integration and data-mapping issues in collaboration with integration teams.

• Testing Release & Production Support

Lead configuration support for SIT UAT regression testing and production cutover.

Provide L3 production support root-cause analysis and system stabilization.

Maintain high-quality solution and configuration documentation.

Desired Skills Set

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience with Blue Yonder TMS implementation and/or support.
• Deep expertise in Blue Yonder TMS configuration including planning optimization rating tendering execution and settlement.
• Strong hands-on experience with Transportation Smartbench (TSB).
• Experience working with APIs and EDI-based integrations.
• Excellent analytical troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading full lifecycle Blue Yonder TMS implementations.
• Experience in SaaS environments with structured release and change management.
• Knowledge of global and multimodal transportation networks.
