Job Description
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are currently hiring for the position of BIM Designer located in Chennai Tamil Nadu. We are looking for skilled professionals with expertise in Public Health Engineering (PHE) Fire Fighting Systems Plumbing Design and BIM Modeling to support infrastructure and building service projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed BIM models and design drawings for Public Health Engineering and Fire Fighting systems.
- Develop piping layouts Fire Hydrant Cabinets (FHC) sprinkler systems fire extinguishing systems water supply and drainage drawings.
- Design plumbing systems including internal water supply and drainage networks.
- Prepare single-line diagrams and schematics for drainage and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate internal and external fire hydrant system layouts with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop external utility and service layouts for depots and infrastructure facilities.
- Perform clash detection and design coordination using BIM platforms.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications safety standards and relevant codes.
Required Skills
- Revit MEP Creation and management of BIM models for MEP services.
- Fire Fighting System Design Designing hydrant sprinkler and fire protection systems.
- Plumbing Design Water supply and drainage system planning and detailing.
- AutoCAD Preparation of detailed engineering drawings and layouts.
- BIM Coordination Interdisciplinary coordination and clash resolution.

- Knowledge of NBC NFPA & Plumbing Codes
Work Experience Requirements
Candidates should possess 38 years of experience in BIM modeling plumbing design and fire fighting systems. Experience in infrastructure commercial industrial or transportation projects is preferred. The ideal candidate should be capable of working in a collaborative design environment and handling multiple project deliverables.
Education
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of construction materials MEP systems and fit-out specifications. Understanding of project execution strategies and procurement planning. Proficiency in ERP software for procurement tracking and reporting. Hands-on experience in managing LPO cycles (Open & Closed LPOs). Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (MS Word Excel). Excellent vendor negotiation and relationship management skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines. Effective communication skills in English and Hindi.
