Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Barista in Trichy Tamil Nadu. - Prepare coffee tea and specialty beverages according to café standards.
- Take customer orders and ensure prompt service delivery.
- Handle billing and POS transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workstation equipment and café area.
- Monitor inventory levels and report stock shortages.
- Ensure beverage quality consistency and presentation standards.
- Assist customers with menu recommendations and product information.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Coffee Preparation Ability to prepare espresso-based and specialty beverages.
- Customer Service Deliver a positive customer experience.
- Communication Skills Interact effectively with customers and team members.
- POS Billing Handle billing and cash transactions accurately.
- Shift Operations Ability to work flexible shifts and manage workload.
Required Skills:
Guest Handling & Customer Service Front Office Operations Communication Skills (English & Tamil) Problem Solving & Service Recovery Attention to Detail Multitasking & Coordination Basic Computer Knowledge (PMS systems preferred)
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is an added advantageStrong verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindsetAbility to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidaysPhysically active role requiring standing and movement for extended periodsBasic understanding of hotel operations is preferred but not mandatoryPositive attitude with willingness to learn and grow in the hospitality industry
