Job Summary

Infrastructure Automation Engineer
Role Overview
The Infrastructure Automation Engineer is responsible for designing developing and implementing automation solutions across Windows and UNIX/Linux platforms to improve efficiency reliability security and lifecycle operations. The role works closely with engineering operations and security teams to streamline platform management through scripting orchestration and modern automation frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell Python Bash or Perl to automate provisioning configuration patching and lifecycle upgrades Implement and enhance automation workflows using Ansible AWX and integration with CI/CD pipelines. Troubleshoot automation issues perform diagnostic analysis and support reliability improvements Maintain technical documentation automation standards and configuration playbooks. Collaborate with cross functional teams to refine lifecycle automation designs and ensure platform scalability security and operational readiness
Required Skills & Experience
Strong scripting expertise in PowerShell Python Bash or Perl Hands on experience with Ansible Puppet Chef SCCM or other automation/configuration tools Understanding of CI/CD pipelines IaC principles and version control (e.g. Git) Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for resolving complex system and automation issues Ability to produce clear documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non technical teams Bachelor s degree in Computer Science IT or related field (as referenced for similar automation roles
Infra Automation and Linux Administration
