Position: Automation Engineer

Location: Chennai / Bangalore

Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Electronics Mechatronics Instrumentation or related field.

Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation or machine commissioning.

Salary: Upto 10 lpa

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Automation Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in machine installation commissioning and industrial automation. The candidate should have hands-on experience with PLCs HMIs servo systems pneumatics and troubleshooting automation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install commission and validate machines at customer sites.
- Perform machine setup alignment calibration and acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot electrical mechanical pneumatic PLC HMI and motion control issues.
- Perform PLC/HMI software backup restoration and updates.
- Diagnose field wiring sensors actuators and industrial communication issues.
- Support preventive maintenance and machine breakdown activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare service reports commissioning reports and RCA/RCCA documentation.
- Support Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
- Provide technical support to customers and ensure timely issue resolution.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with machine commissioning and validation.
- Exposure to FAT/SAT activities.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP Modbus Profinet or EtherCAT.
- Experience in RCA/RCCA documentation and technical reporting.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
