Automation Engineer 2 – Linux & Python Automation

• Location: Hyderabad
• Work Mode: Onsite / Hybrid (as per business requirement)

We are looking for an Automation Engineer with experience in Linux-based environments scripting and automation frameworks. The role involves developing and maintaining automation solutions to improve operational efficiency system reliability and process execution.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to design test troubleshoot and optimize automation systems across software and infrastructure environments.

• Design develop and maintain automation solutions for operational and engineering workflows
• Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash for system administration and process automation
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimization
• Work with Linux OS internals and command-line tools for debugging and system-level troubleshooting
• Build and maintain automation frameworks and testing workflows
• Integrate automation solutions with databases APIs and backend systems
• Collaborate with software infrastructure and system engineering teams on automation initiatives
• Monitor automation system performance and troubleshoot failures or bottlenecks
• Support deployment maintenance and enhancement of automation tools and scripts
• Work with PostgreSQL MongoDB or similar databases for data handling and automation workflows
• Prepare technical documentation process flows and automation reports
• Participate in code reviews debugging sessions and system improvement activities

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electronics Information Technology Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3 5 years of experience in automation engineering scripting or system automation roles
• Experience working in Linux-based development or production environments
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and scripting tools
• Strong understanding of system debugging process optimization and software troubleshooting
