Associate Site Merchandiser, Softlines Central Marketing
Job Summary
The individual will independently propose plan and execute new features stores and launches with minimal supervision collaborating with design and categories teams to meet project objectives. They will establish cross-functional goals coordinate with category teams for execution and drive site improvements to completion by working alongside marketing and designers across the team.
Technical & Professional Requirements
Proficiency in Excel with the ability to quickly learn in-house tools
Strong attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects
Ability to take direction and collaborate effectively across teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Innovative self-motivated with a strong interest in and some experience with online merchandising
Core Responsibilities
Content Management: Coordinating and managing resources to deliver thorough page content
Customer Insights: Tracking and analyzing customer behaviors including searching browsing and purchasing to identify problems and opportunities and engaging cross-functional teams as needed
Merchandising Calendar: Planning and executing the site merchandising calendar encompassing email programs new store launches cross-category placements site-wide events and search results optimization
Promotions: Developing merchandising strategies for storewide promotions and collaborating closely with marketing to schedule them
Analytics: Synthesizing and analyzing relevant content metrics
Testing & Optimization: Regularly developing testing and analyzing new merchandising tactics to drive sales across all categories and improve conversion rates documenting results and sharing best practices with the team
The Site Merchandiser must be capable of thinking and acting both strategically and tactically. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Experience designing and executing online customer experiences
Strong communication skills with experience coordinating teams and presenting to senior management
A strong bias for action and the ability to prioritize effectively
The ability to leverage data and metrics to support feature and customer segment recommendations
Organizational aptitude flexibility and the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Technical proficiency in Excel along with the ability to quickly learn proprietary tools
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Masters degree or equivalent
