Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate law courses in accordance with the college curriculum.
- Conduct lectures seminars workshops and practical sessions that promote critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Supervise and mentor students on dissertations research projects and internships.
- Engage in scholarly research publish papers in reputable journals and present findings at conferences.
- Participate in curriculum revision program accreditation activities and academic committees.
- Provide academic counseling and support to students fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with industry professionals and legal institutions to enhance experiential learning opportunities.
- Perform administrative duties such as examination setting grading and faculty meetings.
Essential Qualifications
- Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in Law (or a recognized equivalent qualification).
- Demonstrated expertise in at least one major area of law (e.g. Constitutional Criminal Corporate International Law).
- Eligibility for appointment as Associate Professor as per University Grants Commission (UGC) norms in India.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Hindi is an advantage.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in a recognized university or college.
- Track record of research publications in peerreviewed journals or reputable legal forums.
- Experience in curriculum development and academic administration.
- Active involvement in professional legal bodies or associations.
