Associate Director Operations with a Multinational Institutional Brokerage and Investment Services

## About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to lead our Institutional Broking Operations. This pivotal role involves managing trade support ensuring regulatory compliance implementing robust risk management practices and overseeing comprehensive reconciliations for Cash Equities across NSE and BSE segments. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence support trading desks and ensure seamless client and regulatory engagements.
## Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the execution of Business-as-Usual (BAU) roles for Cash Equities (NSE and BSE segments) including trade support trade enrichments trade booking reporting and reconciliations.
- Own and maintain accountability for BAU roles daily regulatory reporting and compliance adherence.
- Manage documentation and version control for operating procedures risk management policies and other relevant documents.
- Implement monitor and follow up on BAU risk management activities.
- Ensure daily monitoring and handling of exposure trading limits for clients at both stock and dealer levels.
- Oversee trade accounting management bank relationships funds movements & reconciliations ledger postings and fail trade monitoring.
- Manage and maintain collaterals including Cash Government Securities Listed Equities Bank Guarantees etc.
- Support trading desks across company regions including India for pre- and post-trade activities.
- Ensure regulatory compliances and system alignments.
- Own and manage client margin movements (upstream and downstream) with Exchange Clearing Corporations.
- Coordinate with client on-boarding and compliance teams for empanelment reviews account setup UCC registration and reconciliations.
- Prepare MIS reports and provide audit support.
- Implement regulatory circulars and follow up with IT support teams for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production support.
- Manage static data for stocks and clients including commission deviations reconciliation and handle Buy Backs/OFS/IPOs and QIPs.
- Monitor operational risk & controls and support system developments including UAT.
- Provide support to the Regional Operations team.
## Requirements
- Minimum 15-20 years of work experience in Institutional Broking Operations specifically handling middle and back-office controls and reconciliations including audit and compliance data support.
- Minimum Graduate Degree.
- Excellent understanding and working experience in trade support roles regulatory compliances for trade reporting market pre-matching and settlement of trades for cash market and F&O.
- Strong analytical knowledge and proficiency with numbers.
- Ability to assess problem situations identify causes gather relevant information generate possible solutions and make recommendations or resolve issues.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new and unique ways to improve operations and create new opportunities.
- Proven ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals resolve problems and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
- Proficient in Excel Word processing and E-mail (Outlook).
- Experience with spreadsheets including formulas macros and pivots.
- Knowledge of application and database management.
- Flexibility to work in an office environment with occasional work from home or non-standard workplaces required for immediate client service.
- Ability to work a standard work week with flexible shift timings and be prepared for late hours or full shifts in the absence of colleagues or backups in your responsible area.
- Aptitude for setting priorities developing work schedules monitoring progress and tracking details/data/information/activities.
- Capacity to assess situations to determine importance urgency and risks and make clear timely decisions in the best interests of the organization.
