Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy courses in accordance with the curriculum and accreditation standards.
- Design and evaluate course materials assignments laboratory sessions and examinations.
- Supervise student projects dissertations and internships providing constructive feedback and mentorship.
- Conduct and publish original research in reputable journals; present findings at national and international conferences.
- Participate in curriculum development departmental meetings and academic committees.
- Engage with industry partners for collaborative projects guest lectures and placement opportunities.
- Maintain an active role in community outreach health camps and extension programs organized by the Institute.
- Uphold academic integrity institutional policies and professional ethical standards.
Essential Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Sciences or a closely related discipline.
- Cleared NET/SET (UGC) or equivalent qualification recognized by the University Grants Commission.
- Demonstrated expertise in one or more core areas such as pharmaceutics pharmacology medicinal chemistry pharmacognosy or clinical pharmacy.
- Strong command of English (both written and spoken) for effective teaching and research communication.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 13 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or postgraduate level in a recognized university or college.
- Evidence of scholarly work publications in peerreviewed journals conference papers or patents.
- Experience in laboratory management and supervision of practical sessions.
- Exposure to industry collaborations consultancy projects or grant acquisition is advantageous.
