Job Responsibilities

Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures in Law ensuring clear presentation of concepts and active student engagement.
Design develop and periodically update curriculum course outlines and teaching materials in accordance with university standards and emerging legal trends.
Conduct and supervise examinations assignments projects and dissertations; provide timely feedback and grading.
Guide and mentor students on academic career and research matters fostering a supportive learning environment.
Engage in scholarly research publish papers in reputable journals and present findings at national/international conferences.
Participate in departmental meetings curriculum review committees and accreditation activities.
Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary projects community outreach programs and legal aid initiatives.
Maintain uptodate knowledge of legal developments statutes and case law to enrich classroom instruction.

Essential Qualifications

Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Law or an equivalent advanced degree from a recognized university.
Cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) / State Eligibility Test (SET) or an equivalent qualification as per University Grants Commission (UGC) norms.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching with a strong academic record (minimum 55% in the highest qualification).
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in Hindi is an added advantage.
Strong analytical research and writing abilities.

Desired Experience

Minimum 3 years of teaching experience at the university or college level in Law.
Experience in curriculum development assessment design and student mentorship.
Relevant professional experience (e.g. practicing lawyer legal consultant) of 2 years will be considered an advantage.
Published research work in reputable national or international law journals.
