Assistant General Manager

Position: ASST GENERAL MANAGER – EDP Department: EDP Reporting To: Head Finance Location: Panampilly Nagar

ROLE SUMMARY

The Assistant General Manager – EDP will be responsible for managing end to end IT infrastructure (Hardware Software Networking ERP Applications IT Security) across all company locations. To ensure business continuity availability security compliance timely IT service delivery and provide a stable environment for all stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. IT Strategy & Governance:

§ Develop and implement IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.

§ Implement and enforce IT policies approved by Board and security standards.

2. ERP & Business Systems:

§ Oversee SAP / ERP level 2 support and coordinate with SAP Partners to ensure timely delivery and issue closures.

§ Evaluate the third party software applications and its integrations with SAP ERP.

3. IT Infrastructure Management & Network

§ Manage hardware infrastructure across locations

§ Plan and execute hardware software and networks upgrades replacements and new system deployments.

§ Ensure network uptime LAN / WAN management firewall IDS antivirus and security tools.

§ Manage ERP systems and ensure smooth integration across departments.

4. Data Backup & online system

§ Manager database backup and conduct regular backup testing

§ Ensure timely renewals and uninterrupted online presence.

5. IT Security

§ Monitor IT security for Primary and DR Data Centres.

§ Coordinate annual cyber security audits and VAPT through third – party vendors.

6. Project Leadership: Lead IT projects such as automation ERP implementation and digital transformation.

7. Team & Vendor Management

§ Lead IT Team and ensure Recruit train and supervise EDP/IT staff.

§ Manage vendors for hardware software networking and security solutions

§ Coordinate with vendors for procurement and service agreements.

Technical Expertise:

Strong exposure and hands-on experience in SAP – HANA.

Proficiency in handling HRMS Software and SSA – Sales force Automation / Distribution Management System Platforms – Bizome

Industry Background:

.

Hands on experience working in the FMCG sector is essential.

Business Acumen:

.

Comprehensive understanding of FMCG business processes and ability to align technology solutions with organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

.

Education: BE / B. Tech (Computer Science) / Master’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology.

Experience: 12 – 18 years in IT/EDP management from FMCG Background with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
