About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilledAWS Data Architectto lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud-native data integration and API solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in serverless architectures data engineering event-driven systems and enterprise integration patterns.

You will work closely with Product Owners Architects and Engineering teams to build secure high-performing and reliable data platforms that enable seamless data exchange across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable data integration solutions using AWS services.
• Lead the development of serverless ETL pipelines usingAWS Gluefor data ingestion transformation and publishing.
• Architect and implement RESTful APIs usingAWS LambdaandAPI Gateway ensuring best practices around versioning pagination security and performance.
• Design secure authentication and authorization mechanisms usingAWS Cognito OAuth2 andMutual TLS (mTLS).
• Build event-driven and decoupled architectures leveragingAWS SQS S3 and related AWS services.
• Design and optimize relational data models usingAmazon Aurora (MySQL)andRDS Proxy.
• Establish architecture standards governance frameworks and integration best practices.
• Drive monitoring observability and operational excellence usingCloudWatch SNS and incident management processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders product teams and downstream consumers to define scalable solutions.
• Create architecture documentation design artifacts technical specifications and runbooks.

Required Skills

• 10 years of overall IT experience with strong AWS architecture expertise.
• Hands-on experience with:
• AWS Glue
• AWS Lambda
• API Gateway
• Amazon SQS
• Amazon S3
• Amazon Aurora / RDS
• AWS Cognito
• CloudWatch
• Strong experience inPython or Javadevelopment.
• Expertise in designing enterprise-grade REST APIs.
• Deep understanding ofOAuth2 mTLS authentication and security best practices.
• Strong SQL data modeling and database design experience.
• Experience with event-driven microservices and distributed architectures.
• Strong understanding of data integration ETL/ELT and enterprise data management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience withMaster Data Management (MDM)platforms especiallyStibo STEP.
• Hands-on experience withAWS CDKorCloudFormation.
• Experience working with supply chain or product master data domains.
• Knowledge of Azure Service Bus or similar enterprise messaging platforms.
• Experience with SFTP integrations XML CSV and large-scale data exchange solutions.
• AWS Solution Architect Professional or Associate Certification preferred.
