Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
Model Design & Development
- Design and build Anaplan models using best practices (DISCO PLANS) for Planning processes including statistical forecasting.
- Collaborate with business and solution architects to define functional specifications and develop data flows and calculation logic.
- Develop modules lists dashboards actions and workflows tailored to user roles and business needs.
- Support Anaplan model lifecycle: requirement gathering design development testing deployment and maintenance.
- Create and maintain user documentation training materials and conduct user training sessions.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance and streamline planning processes through Anaplan capabilities.
Data Integration & Validation
- Support integration of Anaplan with upstream systems (ERP CRM BI tools) using ETL tools or APIs.
- Create and manage data import/export actions processes and error-handling routines supporting Anaplan models/apps efficiently.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation with source systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Demonstrated experience working with Anaplan data integrations including understanding of Anaplan data integration processes with Google Big Query/Oracle DB/SQL DB.
- Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform Tools like Big Query and Composer.
- Good knowledge on Anaplan integrations using Anaplan bulk and transactional APIs. Other APIs loke Audit SCIM Cloudworks would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of data governance practices and data management tools would be an added advantage.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Partner with business users and analysts to support UAT training and go-live activities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and help maintain sprint planning and task tracking.
Maintenance & Optimization
- Monitor and enhance model performance scalability and usability.
- Apply naming conventions documentation standards and version control best practices.
- Ensure ongoing support and change management for evolving planning needs.
- Contribute to production support and documenting processes and facilitating enablement sessions to empower stakeholders with the necessary skills and knowledge to utilize Anaplan solutions effectively.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Business Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of Anaplan experience including hands-on model building in complex supply chain environments.
- Technical Skills: Proven experience in implementing Anaplan Planning and Sales Forecast use cases. Deep understanding of Anaplan formulas functions model optimization techniques and user access controls. Should be Anaplan L3 certified/Solution architect. Master Anaplanner is highly preferred. Knowledge of Administration Polaris Workflow Anaplan Data Orchestrator would be a significant advantage.
Experience with data integration tools (e.g. MuleSoft SnapLogic Informatica) is a plus.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and highly dynamic environment and manage teams across different time zones. Must be multi-tasker and able to prioritize and deliver assignments with the highest quality under pressure with short deadline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Worked on projects using The Anaplan Way or other Agile methodologies.
- Background in industries like consumer goods retail manufacturing or life sciences.
- Familiarity with forecasting algorithms and KPIs used is a plus
