About this role
The Wealth Enablement and Analytics (WEA) team sits within BlackRocks US Wealth Advisory business and partners closely with Portfolio Design Services Advisor Engagement the Sales Organization and Product Pillar teams to support key commercial priorities.
WEA also plays a critical role in supporting the Portfolio Consulting and Practice Management businesses delivering consulting engagements education analytics technology tools and thought leadership. These capabilities are designed to help wealth management firms and financial advisors build better portfolios for end investors scale their business models efficiently and enhance client acquisition and retention.
Job Purpose:
This position sits within a dynamic and fastgrowing team responsible for driving Analysis Scale and Reporting capabilities.
The role requires an energetic professional to work closely with the USbased US Wealth Advisory Wealth Enablement and Analytics (WEA) team delivering customized risk and analytical reporting solutions for US Financial Advisors. The individual will build strong partnerships with US stakeholders to produce comprehensive portfolio reports featuring indepth risk and performance analysis aligned to client objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and analyze highly specialized customized portfolio risk and performance reports (e.g. Model Scaling Suite Reports) for financial advisors portfolios.
- Customize BlackRock Model Portfolios in accordance with clientapproved investment guidelines.
- Analyze and update product performance and industry flow data and prepare relevant market and assetclass commentary across Equity Fixed Income and Alternatives.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed accurately and within established timelines maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Support adhoc portfolio returns and market data reporting requests as required.
- Develop maintain and enhance endtoend process flow documentation for assigned activities.
- Contribute to efficiency and capacitybuilding initiatives including automation and standardization efforts.
- Identify inefficiencies within systems processes and procedures and recommend practical improvements.
- Effectively manage workload to meet deadlines while collaborating with and supporting team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- Post-Graduate - MBA (Finance) from reputed institute
- Working knowledge of Power BI VBA and Python will be an added advantage.
- CFA / FRM certification will be an added advantage.
Skills:
- 24 years of relevant experience in investment management asset management or the broader financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial markets with exposure across asset classes and geographies.
- Solid knowledge of portfolio risk and performance concepts including standard deviation Sharpe ratio tracking error and related metrics.
- Familiarity with mutual funds ETFs and portfolio construction principles.
- Advanced working knowledge of the MS Office suite particularly Excel PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience with financial data platforms (e.g. Morningstar or similar) is a strong plus.
- Working knowledge of Power BI Tableau VBA or Python is an added advantage.
- Ability to remain flexible and responsive to urgent or timesensitive requests.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Techsavvy mindset with a strong interest in leveraging new tools and techniques to enhance reporting workflows.
- Prior exposure to sales CRM systems and/or risk reporting tools is desirable.
