Roles and Responsibility:

• Process multi-state payroll for US employees in compliance with federal state and local regulations. Review and validate payroll inputs including timesheets bonuses benefits deductions and tax adjustments. Handle garnishments tax liens and other payroll deductions.
• Ensure payroll operations adhere to all federal state and local tax laws. Prepare and file payroll tax returns including quarterly and annual filings. Respond to tax agency inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance. Reconcile payroll accounts with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies. Support month-end and year-end close processes including W-2 preparation and distribution.
• Address employee inquiries regarding pay taxes and deductions. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner. Educate employees on payroll-related processes such as direct deposit and tax withholding.
• Identify and implement enhancements to payroll processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors. Document payroll procedures and policies and provide training to stakeholders as needed.
