Analyst GBS Finance Planning & Performance Management
Location: Benguluru Karnataka

Role Overview
The Analyst will support the GBS Finance Planning & Performance Management agenda across GCC India GCC Mexico broader GBS zones non-GCC components including NA EPDM WHQ external vendor/tower ecosystems and partners such as Genpact. The role will assist in preparing AOP and LE inputs monthly reporting variance analysis accrual and true-up support intercompany recharge tracking cross-zone cost transfer coordination and leadership review materials. This position is expected to work closely with finance managers GBS stakeholders accounting procurement vendor teams and controllership to ensure accurate data timely reporting clear documentation and smooth execution of core finance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial planning and reporting support: Support AOP LE forecasting and performance reporting activities for the assigned GBS scope including data consolidation budget input preparation variance analysis and review deck support.
  • AOP and LE process coordination: Assist with budget tracker maintenance cost center and package-level data checks service cost assumptions upload templates review comments and follow-ups required for timely submissions.
  • Stakeholder coordination: Work with GCC GBS zone NA EPDM WHQ tower vendor and finance stakeholders to collect inputs validate movements track open items and support resolution of planning and reporting queries.
  • Vendor and tower cost support: Assist in validating vendor cost data Genpact inputs billing trends commitments purchase requisitions purchase orders invoice details and budget adherence for assigned areas.
  • Management reporting support: Prepare and update GBS MBR AOP LE variance and performance review files by converting financial data into clear summaries bridges commentary risks opportunities and pending action trackers.
  • Accounting and control support: Support accruals reclasses true-ups intercompany recharges cost allocations and cross-zone transfer documentation in coordination with accounting controllership and finance stakeholders.
  • Process discipline and documentation: Maintain trackers working files supporting schedules audit trails and standard process documentation to ensure accuracy repeatability and timely execution of finance activities.

Core Process Scope / Supporting Activities

This role supports finance operations for the broader GBS planning and reporting agenda including GCC and non-GCC components across GBS zones NA EPDM WHQ commercial management activities PR/PO tracking vendor invoice validation intercompany recharge support monthly accruals GBS MBR reporting LE updates NA Services Package AOP uploads yearly tracker maintenance and Tier 1 project actuals tracking. The Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate files coordinating inputs performing initial data checks highlighting variances and supporting timely follow-up with stakeholders.

Experience Profile

  • Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Business Economics or related field; MBA CA Inter CMA Inter or equivalent finance qualification will be an advantage.
  • 5 years of experience in FP&A commercial finance shared services finance ZBB GBS finance accounting support reporting vendor cost tracking or financial planning operations.
  • Basic understanding of AOP LE forecasting monthly close variance analysis accruals recharge cost center reporting and management reporting processes.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SAP HANA financial reporting tools Power BI or planning systems will be preferred.
  • Ability to work with large data sets perform reconciliations identify variances maintain trackers and summarize findings clearly for manager review.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills with the ability to coordinate across finance accounting procurement vendor and business stakeholders in a global environment.
  • Detail-oriented approach with the ability to meet timelines follow standard processes document assumptions and escalate risks or open items in a timely manner.
