Job Summary
The HPLC Analyst is responsible for performing analytical testing of food and food-related samples using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). The role involves sample preparation instrument operation method execution data analysis documentation and compliance with laboratory quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of food beverage and related samples using HPLC.
- Conduct sample preparation extraction and cleanup procedures as per validated test methods.
- Operate maintain and troubleshoot HPLC systems and associated laboratory equipment.
- Analyze chromatographic data and ensure accuracy precision and compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and review analytical reports test results and laboratory records.
- Participate in method validation verification and measurement uncertainty studies.
- Perform routine calibration and performance checks of instruments.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory quality systems including ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
Qualifications :
Education:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry Analytical Chemistry Food Technology Food Science Biotechnology or a related scientific discipline.
Experience:
- 25 years of hands-on experience in HPLC analysis within a food testing laboratory.
