Air & LCL Contract Management Senior Specialist
Job Summary
Key responsibilities
Execute Air & LCL tender preparation and RFQ responses for assigned markets/customers. Prepare accurate pricing quotations and contract filings in line with commercial and governance guidelines. Support complex and strategic bids by consolidating inputs from pricing product Sales and procurement teams. Ensure data accuracy rate integrity and timely submission of tender deliverables. Perform basic commercial analysis to support competitiveness and timely submissions Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in tender execution. Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment on customer solutions and Processes Support RCA efforts for errors delays and invoice quality issues.
Key Skills Strong understanding of Air Freight & LCL pricing and tender processes Good analytical and Excel/data handling skills Ability to manage multiple RFQs with accuracy and deadlines Strong stakeholder coordination skills Basic commercial acumen (margin pricing logic competitiveness) Process orientation and attention to detail
Required Business/ Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of Air Freight and LCL fundamentals including shipment flow consolidation/deconsolidation and basic network structure. Good knowledge of tender management processes (RFQ lifecycle) including pricing input bid preparation and contract filing requirements. Working understanding of pricing constructs (base rates surcharges basic margin logic contract vs spot pricing). Familiarity with carrier/co-loader/vendor coordination and how capacity and schedules impact pricing decisions. Understanding of trade lane dynamics and regional market variations affecting competitiveness. Working knowledge of systems/tools used for rate management tender execution and contract documentation (e.g. pricing tools Athena CW1 spreadsheets internal platforms). Awareness of data quality and invoice accuracy concepts and how errors impact customer and financial outcomes.
