Job Summary

Air Import Customer Service

  • Coordinate and monitor air import shipments from origin to final delivery.
  • Communicate with overseas agents airlines customs brokers and customers regarding shipment status.
  • Handle pre-alerts arrival notices and shipment documentation.
  • Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers.
  • Resolve shipment delays discrepancies and operational issues.
  • Coordinate customs clearance and delivery arrangements.
  • Ensure compliance with airline customs and company regulations.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and update internal systems.
  • Address customer inquiries complaints and service requests professionally.

Pricing & Rate Management

  • Obtain and negotiate freight rates with airlines co-loaders and overseas agents.
  • Prepare competitive air freight quotations for customers and sales teams.
  • Analyze market trends and carrier pricing to maintain competitive rates.
  • Maintain and update pricing databases and rate sheets.
  • Calculate freight costs surcharges and profitability.
  • Support tender submissions and RFQ requests.
  • Coordinate with carriers to secure space and special rates when required.
  • Monitor rate validity and communicate changes to customers and internal teams.
