Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced Intershop Developer to design develop and support enterprise eCommerce solutions using the Intershop Commerce platform. The role involves working on enhancements integrations and production support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and customize applications on Intershop Commerce Management (ICM) platform
- Implement storefront features using ISML pipelines and controllers
- Design and develop REST/SOAP-based integrations with external systems (ERP PIM payment gateways)
- Work on catalog management pricing promotions cart and checkout flows
- Debug and resolve production issues defects and performance bottlenecks
- Configure and optimize SOLR search and indexing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business QA DevOps)
- Participate in code reviews deployment and release activities
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
Qualifications
- Strong Java / J2EE development experience
- Hands-on experience with Intershop ICM platform
- Expertise in:
- ISML (Intershop Markup Language)
- Pipelines / Controller framework
- Good understanding of eCommerce business processes (B2B/B2C)
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and system integrations
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
- Familiarity with SOLR search
Experience with build tools (Maven/ANT) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Azure DevOps)
Good To have
- Experience with Spring Framework
- Front-end skills: HTML CSS JavaScript
- Exposure to Intershop PWA / Headless Commerce
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
- Performance tuning and monitoring tools (Dynatrace Splunk)
Experience
- 38 years of experience in eCommerce development
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on Intershop experience
Qualification
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT or related field

- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Good communication and stakeholder interaction
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Proactive approach to issue resolution and improvements
