Accounts Receivable Cash Allocation Specialist

Were hiring a detail-oriented Cash Allocation Specialist to join our finance this role youll be responsible for accurately allocating incoming payments matching them to customer invoices and ensuring records are updated in a timely manner to maintain healthy cash flow.

What you will be doing

• Record and apply customer payments (NEFT cheque etc.) in SAP ensuring accurate invoice matching
• Process receipts and maintain up-to-date accounting records to support cash flow visibility
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts
• Track and manage unallocated cash advances and short payments working with customers and internal teams to close gaps
• Prepare and share daily cash collection reports including receipts advances and mismatches
• Maintain receipt registers and support credit control with accurate data for collections
• Handle TDS and GST-related accounting entries including reconciliation and discrepancy tracking
• Support monthly closing activities including AR ageing and cash forecasting inputs
• Assist during audits and compliance reviews ensuring documentation and controls are in place
• Drive follow-ups for intercompany collections and overdue receivables
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales Credit Control Tax Finance) to improve accuracy and efficiency

Qualifications :

What youll bring:

• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable / Cash Application processes
• Working knowledge of GST and TDS (calculation accounting reconciliation)
• Hands-on experience with SAP (including relevant T-codes for AR & cash posting)
• Solid Excel skills (lookups basic reporting data handling)
• High attention to detail and ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Good communication skills to coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders
• Ability to manage priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Awareness of audit requirements and financial controls
