Support Manager – Front Office Electronic Trading

We are looking for a Support Manager (KDB/Q Developer / Engineer) to join a Front Office Technology team within a leading financial services firm in Hong Kong.

The role focuses on building and supporting KDB analytics solutions used across electronic trading working closely with Algo Traders Quant teams and Technology.

What youll be doing:

• Develop and maintain KDB/Q-based analytics platforms
• Work with real-time and historical equities market data
• Build APIs for quantitative modelling and data analysis
• Integrate with electronic trading execution and post-trade systems
• Support production environments and troubleshoot operational issues
• Improve data infrastructure and system performance

What we are looking for:

• 15 years of hands-on KDB/Q development experience
• Strong understanding of KDB architecture and Q
• Experience with equities market data / electronic trading
• Exposure to Refinitiv Elektron or similar market data feeds is a plus
• Experience in API development
• Exposure to TCA / post-trade analytics is advantageous
• Python C# or R experience is a plus
