Your Next Challenge
- Reporting to the Project Manager/Project Director; this role shall be a middle-grade staff to deliver the multi-disciplinary civil engineering consultancies (feasibility study; D&C; coordination with RSS for construction stage; etc.) with CEDD HyD HD etc.
- Leading junior staff for delivering the tasks effectively; ensure tasks to be completed within budget and programme
- Assist in bidding for public works consultancies (CEDD HyD MTRCL etc.) including collaboration with other consultants/partners
- Support to other teams business (e.g. Tender preparation support to Contractors tenders or design works for Contractor) on need basis
What Youll Need
Core requirements:
- Recognised qualification (e.g. MHKIE (Civil Discipline) CEng with ICE or CIHT etc.) in an appropriate discipline
- 6 years or above post-graduation experience or above in civil engineering and/or transportation engineering
- Appropriate level of computer proficiency in particular suitable use of MS Excel for the role (for purpose of e.g. design calculations coordination project cashflow monitoring)
Preferred attributes:
- Possessing ANY of the following will be advantage
- Prior experience in leading/coordinating development-based feasibility studies with CEDD/HD (e.g. public housing developments);
- Prior experience in detailed design tender preparation construction stage support for roadwork projects with considerable scales;
- Considerable depth of experience on highways and transportation engineering (including modelling) based on Hong Kongs guidelines (TPDM SDMHR etc.);
- Considerable depth of experience on drainage sewerage water-supply related assessments and/or design based on Hong Kongs guidelines (DSD SDM Sewerage Manual etc.);
- A good team player with collaborative mindset eager to liaise with Government Authorities stakeholders for project approval/resolving interface issue etc.;
- Good communication skills in Cantonese and English
