Data Project Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager who combines strong delivery leadership with exceptional executive influence This role is critical in shaping enterprise data direction by actively engaging Clevel stakeholders to drive alignment secure strategic prioritization and ensure data initiatives directly support business growth

The successful candidate will operate as a bridge between executive vision and execution using influence insight and credibility to turn data strategy into funded actionable programs

Key Responsibilities:

1 Strategic Leadership Stakeholder Influence:

• Serve as a strategic partner to Clevel executives influencing decisions on data investment prioritization and roadmap sequencing
  
• Proactively shape executive thinking by framing data initiatives in terms of business outcomes revenue risk cost efficiency customer experience
  
• Drive alignment across competing executive agendas resolving conflicts and establishing a unified data direction
  
• Lead executive-level conversations steering committees and governance forums with confidence and authority
  
• Translate technical data concepts into clear compelling narratives that resonate with nontechnical leadership
  
• Anticipate stakeholder concerns and navigate political and organizational dynamics to maintain momentum
  
• Build long term trust with senior leaders becoming a go-to advisor on data-driven transformation
  

2 EndtoEnd Project Delivery:

• Lead the full lifecycle of data related projects eg data platforms analytics data governance AIML initiatives
  
• Ensure delivery of projects on time within scope and within budget
  
• Manage dependencies across multiple programs and business units
  
• Establish and enforce robust project governance reporting and risk management practices
  

3 Data Strategy Execution:

• Bridge the gap between strategic vision and execution by translating data strategy into actionable roadmaps
  
• Collaborate with data architects engineers and business teams to deliver scalable data solutions
  
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture regulatory requirements and data governance standards
  

4 CrossFunctional Collaboration:

• Work closely with business units to identify opportunities where data can drive revenue efficiency or customer experience
  
• Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions across technical and nontechnical stakeholders
  
• Build strong relationships across IT data teams and business functions
  

5 Change Management Adoption:

• Drive organizational change to foster a data-driven culture
  
• Ensure successful adoption of data platforms and analytics capabilities
  
• Develop communication and engagement strategies tailored for executive and operational audiences
  

Required Qualifications Experience:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology Data Science Business or related field
  
• 15 years of experience in project program management with a strong focus on data or analytics initiatives
  
• Proven track record of delivering complex cross functional projects in large organizations
  
• Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing C-level stakeholders
  
• Strong understanding of data platforms eg data lakes data warehouses cloud analytics solutions
  
• Experience in Agile Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies
  
• Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in financial services digital banking or highly regulated industries
  
• Certifications such as PMP PRINCE2 SAFe or equivalent
  
• Exposure to AIML advanced analytics or data monetization initiatives
  
• Experience driving enterprise data transformation or data governance programs
