Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Our client is an authorized insurer to facilitate retirement financial planning through provision of annuity products in Hong Kong they launch a project to revamp the core AdministrationSystem of which Digital Enrichment is considered a a crucial element to their company. Yo will be working with experts from different areas in a dynamic environment. Theyare currently seeking for aCloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the infrastructure projects;
• Taking the lead for cloud infrastructure design;
• Make recommendation in connecting the cloud infrastructure to the Company owned data center;
• Ensure all systems are operating in a stable and effective environment;
• Study and provide recommendations from the operational and security perspective;
• Assist configuration change with vendors;
• Perform regular administrative tasks including upgrades and update of all software;
• Perform system monitoring and reporting; and
• Working closely with Group infrastructure team to manage the interconnection of cloud and on-premises data center.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in IT or related disciplines;

• 10 years relevant experiences. Commencing position will be commensurate with qualifications;

• Experience in AWS Alibaba Tencent cloud Linux AWS Docker Kubernetes are an advantage;

• Solid experience in network administration with strong knowledge in LAN/WAN/cloud network architecture micro-segmentation firewall router/switch wireless LAN VPN IPS WAF CLB network management performance monitoring and automation tools;

• Good planning organizing communication and interpersonal skills and able to work under pressure;

• Knowledge of ITIL and DevOps is an advantage;

• Possessing relevant certificates is an advantage;

• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese;

• Strong leadership and capabilities to lead a small team; and

• Strong stakeholders management.
