HR Working Student (mfd)
Job Summary
Were building a company that runs agentic AI on real insurance claims for DAX-listed insurers. The team is growing fast and the people function that supports it is being built right now from scratch.
Were hiring an HR Working Student to help build it. Not to file paperwork. To own real pieces of how inca hires pays onboards and grows its people and to shape the culture while its still being written.
Youll work directly with the founders (ex-BCG PLs) and the Founders Associate with real ownership from week one and a front-row seat to how a company gets built.

Tasks
What Youll Own
The people function from the ground up. Theres no HR playbook here yet you help write it. The processes you build now become how inca operates as it scales from a handful of people to a category-defining team. Thats rare ownership for a working student.
People strategy & culture. Youll help shape the things that decide what inca feels like to work at how we onboard how we celebrate how we keep a fast team aligned and motivated. Youll own initiatives end-to-end not just support them and youll see your fingerprints on the culture as it forms.
Onboarding. You own how new joiners experience their first weeks from offer signed to fully ramped. You design the process run it and keep improving it so that every hire lands well and fast.
Contracts & documentation. Youll draft and manage employment contracts addenda and the HR documentation that keeps a growing team clean and compliant accurately and ahead of the next hire.
Payroll support. Youll help run the monthly payroll process and keep the operational backbone tight: accurate on time every month.
Recruiting. You help run recruiting end-to-end. The people who build inca get hired through processes you help run.
HR Automation. Youll automate the HR function process by process. If it runs by hand today it shouldnt tomorrow.
Requirements
What You Bring
- Currently enrolled as a student (Bachelor or Master) ideally in business psychology HR or a related field available 1520h/week
- A builders instinct: youd rather create a process than inherit one and you spot the gap before someone points to it
- Structured reliable and detail-obsessed contracts and payroll leave no room for close enough
- Strong written and verbal communication; you handle sensitive topics with discretion and care
- Comfort with modern tools (Notion Excel AI tools) and the curiosity to figure out the ones you dont know yet
- German and English fluency
