Overview Fujeij Wind Power Company (FWPC) is a project company established in Jordan by Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) / South Korea on 8th September 2015, and was incorporated in Jordan and authorized to construct, own, operate, and maintain the wind farm in Fujeij, Ma’an Province for 20 years from the commercial operation date, and to sell all the electricity generated therefrom to National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) for 20 years from the commercial operation date. • Location: Ma’an, Jordan • 27 Wind Turbines • Construction started December 21, 2016 • Commercial Operation Date: July 14, 2019 • Capacity: 89.1 MW • Carbon neutral and reduces carbon emissions in Jordan by 158,500 tonnes. • Produces electricity per year for approximately 32,120 local households in Jordan.
