Field Service Engineer Datacenter Solutions

As a Field Service Engineer UPS (Data Center Segment) you will play a key role in delivering highquality service technical expertise and customer support for Deltas Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and related DCS (Data Center Solutions) products. This role involves both handson technical work and knowledge leadershipdeveloping deep expertise sharing best practices across EMEA supporting customers with complex issues and contributing to continual product and service improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support & OnSite Service

• Perform onsite diagnostics troubleshooting repair and maintenance of Delta UPS and datacenter power products.
• Lead complex service activities including Level 2Level 5 commissioning system startups performance testing and verification of correct installations.
• Provide escalated technical support for critical customer incidents.
• Conduct rootcause analysis and feed insights back to engineering and product teams.

Training & Knowledge Development

• Deliver technical training programs to Delta field service engineers partners and customers.
• Develop training materials troubleshooting guides and bestpractice procedures.
• Serve as a subjectmatter expert for DCS products.

Documentation & Process Ownership

• Create and maintain service-related technical documentation.
• Define scope of work for installation commissioning and maintenance.

Service Partner Management

• Provide partner onboarding and capability assessment.
• Ensure consistent service quality and customer satisfaction.

Customer & Business Engagement

• Collaborate with sales and product teams to understand customer needs.
• Identify service opportunities and product upgrades.
• Support presales and aftersales activities with technical insight.

Qualifications :

Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.

Minimum 3 years experience with UPS or powerelectronics systems.

Strong understanding of electrical systems and power infrastructure.

Excellent communication skills written and verbal.

Handson experience troubleshooting highpower systems.

Willingness to travel across France and EMEA on request.

Fluent in French and English.

Preferred Skills

Datacenter or missioncritical UPS experience.

Experience with Cooling solutions a plus

Knowledge of battery technologies.

Familiarity with SCADA/BMS systems.

Relevant electrical safety or vendor certifications.
