Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Container IT Operations Manager (f/m) to join our DICB Containers & Private Cloud team based in Toulouse France.

You will be part of a team developing Hybrid Hosting & Cloud Infrastructure solutions. As part of the Containers & Private Cloud Team you will be involved in operating mission-critical Kubernetes platforms aiming at securing Airbus multi-cloud strategy and enabling company digitalization.

Your challenges:

• Manage the end-to-end platform lifecycle directing strategic roadmaps version upgrades and obsolescence tracking for our massive OpenShift/Kubernetes infrastructure.

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for external editors to resolve complex software bugs and coordinate patching cycles.

• Drive infrastructure GitOps orchestration using ArgoCD for cluster administration alongside global governance and security hardening via ACM/ACS.

• Lead ITIL-based operational processes (incident problem change) and head Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to maintain constant 24/7 stability.

• Coordinate international administrator teams and collaborate with platform architects to ensure infrastructure availability aligns with negotiated SLAs.

Your boarding pass:

• Background in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent experience.

• Min 3 years of experience building deploying and operating cloud Container solutions (Kubernetes Red Hat OpenShift Rancher).

• Solid background in Linux system administration (RHEL Ubuntu) and GitOps/Automation workflows (ArgoCD Ansible Terraform).

• Advanced proficiency level in both English and French.
