The Business Analyst Demand & Supply Planning plays a key role in enabling the digital transformation of BICs Supply Chain Planning capabilities. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT the Business Analyst gathers analyzes and translates business requirements into scalable technology solutions that support Demand Planning Supply Planning Factory Planning and Integrated Business Planning processes.

Working closely with planners Supply Chain leaders IT teams and external partners the Business Analyst supports the implementation enhancement and continuous improvement of planning solutions ensuring alignment with business objectives and global standards.

Responsibilities

  1. Business Analysis & Solution Design (30%)
  • Partner with Supply Chain Manufacturing Finance and IT stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Analyze business processes and translate functional requirements into clear technical specifications.
  • Design scalable solutions supporting Demand Planning Supply Planning Factory Planning and S&OP processes.
  • Evaluate solution options and recommend improvements aligned with business priorities and enterprise architecture.
  1. Solution Delivery & Implementation (35%)
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of planning solutions across global and regional organizations.
  • Coordinate system configuration and deployment activities in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Support integrations between Blue Yonder JD Edwards (JDE) Power BI and other enterprise applications.
  • Ensure successful deployment while minimizing business disruption.
  1. Process Improvement & System Optimization (15%)
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and standardize planning processes.
  • Analyze system performance and recommend enhancements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase planning efficiency and data quality.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging planning technologies.
  1. Testing Training & Change Management (10%)
  • Prepare functional test scenarios and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
  • Develop user documentation and training materials.
  • Support user adoption during system implementations and enhancements.
  1. Operational Support (10%)
  • Provide functional support for planning applications (Blue Yonder).
  • Investigate and resolve production issues in collaboration with IT support teams.
  • Monitor application performance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support release management and post-implementation stabilization

Required Qualifications

  • Education

    • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Information Systems Engineering or a related discipline.

    Experience

    • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
    • Experience supporting Demand Planning Supply Planning Factory Planning or Integrated Business Planning processes.
    • Experience participating in Supply Chain system implementations.
    • Experience working in international or global organizations is preferred.

    Skills

    • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning processes including:
      • Demand Planning
      • Supply Planning
      • Factory Planning
      • S&OP / Integrated Business Planning
    • Experience with Blue Yonder Planning solutions or other APS
    • Knowledge of Anaplan and Power BI is an advantage.
    • SQL knowledge
    • Ability to document business requirements using standard Business Analysis methodologies.
    • Understanding of system integrations and master data concepts.
    • Familiarity with Agile project delivery.
    • Good understanding of JD Edwards (JDE) ERP is a plus

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with Blue Yonder Demand Supply or Factory Planning modules.
    • Knowledge of Integrated Business Planning methodologies.
    • Experience with project lifecycle and implementation methodologies.
    • Experience working with cross-functional global teams.
    • Fluent English is required.
    • French is a strong advantage; Spanish or Portuguese would be beneficial.
